Aboriginal art

AboriginalWorkshops for accompanied children and adults in acrylic painting on canvas. A session with Anetart will help you unlock your individual creativity to produce  abstract pieces in the style of Australian aboriginal dot painting.

All materials are included, and you can take your canvas home with you.

Learn to letterpress!

bundlePrint your own designs on a hand-operated 8”x5” Adana letterpress! We will design the your cards or invitations together before the event. On the day, we will print up to 50 of your own bespoke designs on A6 white 100% cotton cards.

This is ideal for an individual or couple who would like to print their own save-the-dates, party invitations, or baby announcements, or fun postcards. Pop along and see the Adana in action!

The price is £30-100 for up to 50 postcards (depending on complexity of design – to be confirmed before the event), and includes all materials. Taught by Rachel Stanners of Prickle Press.

Learn affirmative appliqué and make a wallet

affirmative-applique Cut your positive message from cloth letters and hand stitch into place  – and create your own unique Oyster card wallet you’ll use regularly reminding you what it is you want to remember. Choose cloth from a selection of vintage fabrics or bring your own if you want. Taught by textile artist Maggie Winnall of Sewin Studio.

Sarah Lovett is an experienced willow weaver and will provide you with the materials. Sarah will teach you all you need to know to create your very own plant climber that you can take home with you at the end of the session.

Green woodworking (sold out)

Ben's dibbleYou’ll be shown how use tools such as an axe, drawknife and ancient pole lathe to transform green wood, straight from the tree, into a useful household object. Expect a bit of mess but lots of fun. By the end you’ll be addicted! Taught by green woodworker Ben Willis.

Making images, making meaning


Do you want to use your creativity to plan a goal or uncover your hidden skills? Mind maps, timelines and visual wheels are fun and creative ways to plan goals and reflect on your unrecognised skills. We will discuss how these visual images can be used for self-development and self esteem.

In a supportive space, you will create a mind map, timeline or visual wheel using colour and paper. We will discuss what we uncover about ourselves and how this can help us with goals in our lives. You will take your creative colourful image home with you. Led by Andry Anastasiou, an experienced coach and workshop facilitator.

Make a fragranced bath bomb!

Do you want to add some fizz to your bath time?


Learn how to make your own bath bombs. Bath bombs make bathing fun and fizzy – and smell lovely. They also make a fantastic gift to give to someone else.

elena_drawingElena Blanco of DreamyMe will run two drop-in sessions where you can learn uninhibited and fun illustration techniques.

Learn drawing as a means of engaging with reality, calming your mind and connecting with your inner self.

Knitting and crochet: 1pm, 3pm


Choose between crochet or knitting and make a lovely flower or circle using different coloured yarns that you can take home!

The object you make will be about 15 centimetres in diameter. Taught by Musima Works.

The magic of drawing…everybody can!: 11am

This workshop is for children or adults. Pam Williams will show how to turn your own ideas into strong results by using artistic observation. You will have a chance to practise this approach and take  your drawing home with you.

Pam has over 30 years of experience working as an artist and teaching children and adults in the UK and internationally.
